SUTTON

Primetals Technologies

Construction site with heavy machinery including an orange road roller, a yellow excavator, and a yellow backhoe loader working on dirt and rocks under an overcast sky.

THE PROJECT

One of our largest projects to date at over $6 million — full site infrastructure for Primetals' $28 million U.S. manufacturing expansion in Sutton.

  • Multiple retaining walls

  • Extensive cuts and fills

  • Excavation and backfill for interior electrical and plumbing systems

  • Duplex pump chamber installation

  • 1,000+ yards of structural fill imported

IN THE FIELD

The scale of this project required precision across every system. We excavated and backfilled over 1,600 linear feet of natural gas line, imported more than 1,000 yards of structural fill, and installed a complete sewer system, fire protection infrastructure, and a duplex pump chamber — all while coordinating around an active industrial facility.

THE RESULT

A fully built-out industrial site equipped with all underground utilities, retaining walls, and the structural earthwork needed to support Primetals' major expansion — one of the most technically demanding projects in our portfolio.

Construction of a large concrete retaining wall alongside a narrow road in a green, hilly area with trees. Construction materials and black silt fences are visible along the base of the wall.
